Northern California woman accused of incest
A woman from Northern California has been accused of incest as it is alleged that she had sex with her teenage son. A law enforcement source told the New York Daily News that the mother had tracked down her estranged 16 year old son on Facebook after 15 years. “It appears she hadn’t had any contact with the son for 15 years, and now he’s 16,” the source told the newspaper.
“She contacted him late last year via Facebook and was sending him messages inappropriately,” the source added. Mistie Atkinson, 32, is also accused of making a sex tape with her 16 year old song and also sending him nude photos.

Search Warrant
Authorities have said that Police in Napa, California were serving an arrest warrant when they found the mother and son in a hotel room. She was arrested and charged with multiple felonies which include oral copulation with a minor, contacting a minor for sex using electronic communication and incest.
Atkinson is due at court on May 10th and has pleaded not guilty to all the charges. She faces a maximum of five years in prison if found guilty of her charges. According to a court affidavit both mother and son knew about their biological link.
