This is the horrifying moment a van driver on a hit-and-run rampage swerved across four lanes of traffic before mounting the pavement and smashing into a young couple pushing a toddler in a pram.
Two-year-old Amelia-May Lewis was catapulted into the air and caught by her father Adam, 23, who was left unscathed in the crash, while her mother Annie, 22, was flung across the road.
Amelia-May suffered injuries to her face, which left her covered in blood, while her student mother was rushed to hospital with a broken leg.
