Seorang PM Takutkan Dua Ekor Singa Tua?

Tak terkilan dan kesalkah kita
Bila kita anggap dan iktiraf Najib adalah seorang PM
Tapi penakut sehingga diperkotak-katikkan oleh dua ekor singa tua?

‘Najib scared of Taib and Mahathir’
Joseph Tawie | April 12, 2013
Sarawak PKR is expecting to contest in 12 or 14 parliamentary seats and has already announced most of its candidates.
KUCHING: Prime Minister Naib Tun Razak is too afraid of Sarawak Chief Minister Taib Mahmud to force the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) to investigate Taib and other corrupt leaders in the Barisan Nasional, said PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim here.
“MACC would not dare to touch Taib. This is because Najib is scared of Taib…
“Najib is not only scared of Taib but also scared of Mahathir Mohamad,” Anwar said when addressing some 500 people at Siburan yesterday.
Anwar was alluding to the Global Witness video implicating Taib in power abuse over land matters.
Anwar said that MACC is only good at catching those “who stole ayam” (chicken) but would not dare to arrest leaders who grabbed people’s land, stole timber and cheated the people and plundered the wealth of the country.
He said when Pakatan formed the next government after the general election, everyone must observe the rule of law.
“Those who commit corruption, I will make sure that they will be dragged to court and put into prison if they are found guilty,” he said.
Anwar said that the Barisan Nasional had for more than 50 years resorted to the law of the jungle in order to protect its cronies at the expense of the people.
“I need your help to get rid of this corrupted BN government and install a new Pakatan Rakyat government which protects the interests of the ordinary people,” he added.
Anwar said he felt disgusted when he read that Taib not only refused to cooperate with MACC, but described it as “naughty” and “dishonest”.
“This is a very serious matter when the authority of MACC is being questioned and insulted, and the Cabinet should take action,” he said, adding that taking no action showed MACC to be “really weak and imcompetent”.
He said under Pakatan, no one was above the law.
“If you are the adviser to Petronas, don’t ever assume that your son is going to get the monopoly of Petronas contracts. And this applies to Mahathir.
“But Najib has no courage to tell Mahathir.
“When Pakatan forms the next government, we will make sure that all Petronas contracts will be tendered out in a transparent manner, and we will give at least 30% of contracts to people from oil- producing states like Sarawak, Sabah, Kelantan and Terengganu,” he said.
Five seats still unresolved

Meanwhile, Anwar announced six more persons as PKR candidates for the coming general election, and they are Zulrusdi Hol (Santubong), Ahmad Nazib Johari (Petrajaya), Nicholas Bawin (Lubok Antu), Thomas Laja (Kanowit), Joshua Jabeng (Selangau) and Cecilia Siti Una (Betong).
Early this month, Anwar had confirmed five persons as the party’s candidates, and they are Baru Bian (Limbang), Roland Engan (Baram), Ali Biju (Saratok), Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh (Batang Lupar) and Abun Sui Anyit (Hulu Rajang).
Anwar is yet to announce the names of candidates for Mas Gading, Mambong, Kota Samarahan, Sri Aman, Miri and Julau as these constituencies are also claimed by PKR’s other partners DAP and PAS.
“The three parties are still in the process of negotiation,” he said.
PKR is expected to contest between 12 and 14 seats.
